AUSTRALIAN UKG PRODUCER OSMOSIS JONES DROPS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EP ‘SATURDAY’
Breakout UKG DJ, producer and artist Osmosis Jones has delivered his long-awaited EP ‘Saturday’ via his own imprint In The House on 24th July. Making his mark as an eclectic and talented artist in the UK Garage scene, the EP sees him further refine his signature sound across a collection of groove-led, club-influenced productions that showcase his versatility and forward-thinking approach.
Blending UKG classic sensibilities with his own signature twist, Osmosis Jones opens the EP with ‘Tonight’s The Night’, combining swung rhythms, soulful vocals and understated production. Rooted in the foundations of classic 2-step, the track balances familiar garage textures with a clean, contemporary sound. The result is a record that nods to the foundations of UKG while sitting comfortably alongside contemporary dance music. Next up, ‘Just Crazy’ turns up the heat with a fast-paced, bouncy two-step rhythm, combining rolling grooves, infectious percussion and dynamic textures into a high-energy cut that captures the euphoric spirit of modern UKG. ‘Saturday Night’ is a high-octane UK Garage cut fusing shuffling percussion, infectious vocal chops and heavyweight basslines into a floor-focused groove. Equal parts speed garage nostalgia and contemporary underground pressure, it's designed for those moments when the dancefloor is fully locked in and demanding more. Closing out the EP with ‘Champers’, Osmosis Jones delivers a seductive, groove-led finale, driven by silky vocals, shuffling percussion and deep, rolling basslines.
Speaking about the EP, Osmosis Jones says: "Saturday EP is my first release on INTHEHOUSE Records in almost two years. The four tracks capture my sound better than anything I’ve put out so far, blending classic UK garage, speed garage and bassline with a smooth but club-focused feel. All tried and tested with great success in my sets!"
Hot off the back of a sold-out London show at revered venue The Carpet Show last month, the rising DJ and producer has risen quickly in recent years, playing an integral role in Australia’s growing UKG movement and helping bring international attention to the local scene. His sound is rooted in deep crate-digging and classic UK Garage, drawing heavily from authentic 90s and 00s influences with clear respect for the genre’s foundation. This approach has earned him support and recognition from artists such as Interplanetary Criminal, Main Phase, Sammy Virji, Silva Bumpa, Dr. Dubplate, Prozac and others. Hitting 1 million Spotify streams, Osmosis Jones has marked a breakout period with releases on respected labels EC2A, ATW, No Instruction and OG Amsterdam. He also runs INTHEHOUSE Records, an underground outlet for deeper self-releases and a platform focused on highlighting emerging artists globally.
Blending timeless UK Garage influences with modern club energy, ‘Saturday’ is a confident statement from one of the scene's most exciting emerging artists, further cementing Osmosis Jones as a name to watch.
