The Star by Hackney Downs, set to open on April 11th, is the latest addition to the charming Hackney Downs area bringing a fresh, refurbished take on a long standing pub. With latest statistics pointing to two pubs closures everyday of the week, this is a great opportunity to bring the age-old location back to life for locals to enjoy. Focused on providing a comfortable and open to all, relaxed atmosphere that allows locals to indulge in a pint, good food and some music on their door step!
Food focused, the famous stoned baked pizza oven of Mario’s Pizza from the Star of Bethnal Green will be prominent on the menu. Offering a stunning and delicious range of freshly made pizza’s using their secret dough recipe, be sure to sample some cockney specials including the ‘Two and Eight’ or ‘Butchers Hook’! Love Drink will be supplying an assortment of spirits, pouring the likes of Haymans Gin, El Dorado Rum and Goslings Rum. Local ale brands Trumans Brewery, Redchurch Beer and London Fields Brewery will be providing a superior selection of ales and beers, from the more discerning and unusual ales to Tiger, Becks and Dry Dock dark stout on draft.
This looks to be just as good as it's sister pub named 'The Star of Kings Cross'
