ADE 2026 The GUESTLIST Guide

The world’s biggest club festival and electronic music conference turns 30

The Guestlist Guide to ADE 26: everything worth your time, on one PDF

ADE turns 30 this year. That means 1,300+ events across five days, and a lot of them clash. We’ve narrowed it down.

Amsterdam Dance Event has always been two festivals in one. There’s the stadium version, with headliners at the ArenA and confetti cannons. Then there’s the version in warehouses with no signage, playing records nobody can ID. Our guide covers both, but our hearts are firmly in the second.

The underground edit

Start with VBX week. It began with Francesco Del Garda, Marco Shuttle and Paquita Gordon at Lofi, which sold out. On Saturday it moves to an all-dayer at BRET, then Can You Jigit? × ReSolute at a secret warehouse from 17:00 to 10:00 the next morning. Jane Fitz curates Sunday afternoon, also at a secret warehouse. Apollonia takes over Shelter on Sunday night, and the week closes with VBX × fabric × Loud-Contact at TILLATEC on Monday, running into Tuesday.

SlapFunk is running four parties, and one of them is in a pizza place (Yoyaku at Klaproos, Saturday from 08:00). The big one is the Monday Manifesto at BRET: 30-plus hours, finishing at Tuesday noon. The billing just says “Trust the fam.” We do.

For Rominimal fans, Raresh plays Thuishaven on Saturday, Priku is at Berg Audio’s Noorderlicht party on Sunday, and Nicolas Lutz closes Breakfast Club’s 30-hour run at Garage Noord.

The listings

There are six pages of listings, Friday through Monday morning. They cover the heavyweights (Jeff Mills, Dettmann and Helena Hauff at fabric × Loud-Contact) and the morning-afters (Breakfast Club’s Runner’s High at RADION from 09:00). There’s also a page of talks and free events for when your legs give out.

The Loft

The Loft is sixteen floors up, with sunrise sets from Friday through Monday. Most sessions have sold out. The free ferry from Centraal still runs.

Refuel

Eating is not optional, whatever your group chat says. We’ve picked healthy, cheap spots near the venues in West, Noord and Centre. De Sering is all-vegan and pay-what-you-can. Flavours by Han does hot ramen for the morning after. Café de Ceuvel is plant-based and on the waterside. Foodware does build-your-own plates. In ADE terms, all of them count as a balanced diet.
